Spymob is an American band originally formed in Minneapolis in the early 1990s by John Ostby, Eric Fawcett, Brent Paschke, and Scotty Jones.

Known for its longtime creative collaboration with The Neptunes, Spymob became the original backing band for N.E.R.D., contributing to the live-instrumentation reimagining of In Search Of… and touring internationally with the group during the early 2000s.

The band was later signed to Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo’s Star Trak Entertainment and released the cult-favorite pop-rock album Sitting Around Keeping Score.

Outside of Spymob, the band’s members have collaborated widely across industry as producers, session and touring musicians, songwriters, sync licensors, and music educators, working with artists including Pharrell Williams, Beck, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Kendrick Lamar, and more.

After more than two decades apart, Spymob reunited in 2024 to create new music. Their latest album, Another Night, marks the band’s first full-length release of new material in over twenty years.
